YogaSlackers Training #77

Sadly our adventure race down in Texas got canceled…but fortunately the YogaSlackers are a flexible bunch. After an amazing week of teaching and playing at the Estes Park Yoga Journal Conference, Sam, Jason, Dan and I headed out on our own adventure race. There were two check points, one at the top of Petit Grepon and another one at the top of Sharks Tooth- both summits require over a thousand feet of technical climbing to reach. Thanks to Margie’s breakfast burritos, Dan’s fashionable climbing attire and the promises of warm soup on our return, we went as fast as we could. With running the 10 miles of approach and descent and simul climbing everything below 5.6 in difficulty, we were able to complete the link up in just over 13 hours, car to car.
Jason and I learned from our Alaska “vacation”, so this time, we all packed just enough food. It was nice not to be counting our chocolate chips!

freakin brilliant video.
you guys are an inspiration….
